High quality dark chocolate, Dutch cocoa, and just a hint of coffee give our Classic Chocolate cake a deep, fudgey flavor—all while maintaining a delightfully fluffy texture. Layers of dark chocolate ganache and vanilla cream cheese frosting pack an extra decadent punch.
Our standard Classic Chocolate cake design features an exterior coating of sheer "semi-naked" vanilla buttercream and a topping of chocolate ganache. Customize your cake with an alternate buttercream style, a fresh floral crown, or a custom buttercream-piped message for an especially sweet treat. Available for pick-up and local delivery within Charlottesville.

I ordered the dark chocolate baby cake for my daughter’s birthday. The cake was delicious and just the right size for us-2 people. It was decorated with a ring of flowers very beautiful. I will definitely order from Cake Bloom again. I want to try the lemon cake which I’m sure will be delicious too. Also I had to reschedule the pick up date. I emailed and received a speedy response saying no problem. You definitely won’t be disappointed with either the cake or the customer service.

So this was one of those “OMG—we forgot to order a cake!” moments… In a panic, I jumped online and found a local bakery near where my son lives. Honestly, I wasn’t expecting much from a last-minute cake order, but WOW—I was wrong! The cake was incredibly moist, full of flavor, and that frosting… absolutely next level. Consider me officially blown away!
