Opened in 2021, Cake Bloom is a sister-owned bakery based in Charlottesville, Virginia. 

What began as a brick-and-mortar dream from baby sister Susan’s wedding cake business, Cake Bloom has evolved into an experiential cake shop offering eight different flavors by the slice each month, cake and wine pairings, and a weekly tea service. 

While we cater to occasions of all size, we’re strong believers in honoring the in-between moments and seeking out something to celebrate each and every day.

The Longboard - For all those who know what they like—and want a whole lot of it—enter The Longboard. These long and lovely cakes are available in all eight flavors from our current menu. Each Longboard comes in a premium, gift-ready box containing a package of edible floral petals for the perfect DIY garnish. This cake slice sampler is perfect for dinner parties, micro-weddings, gifts, or picture-perfect picnics.
