P/T Dishwasher - we are looking for a part-time dishwasher to support our growing cake business. Our ideal candidate is a punctual, thorough, fast, flexible, hard-working, positive, self-starter and team player.
Primary Responsibilities
- Maintains a clean kitchen, properly washes, sanitizes and dries soiled dishes, pots and glassware
- Maintain clean dish machines and sinks, and help monitor sanitizer, detergent and rinse aid levels
- Maintains clean / dry floors throughout the shift.
- Bus dirty dishes from foh to boh and return clean dishes to storage locations
- support baking staff with food prep as needed
Ideal Candidates are:
- are familiar with Charlottesville and surrounding areas, including Crozet and Keswick
-are comfortable handling and delivering two to three-tier wedding cakes
- can provide excellent customer service and communicate effectively with wedding planners and vendors to ensure smooth delivery
- are familiar with products and can ensure orders are delivered accurately and in good condition
- are comfortable communicating any issues or delays that arise and resolve problems efficiently
- will represent our brand with excellence and professionalism by driving safely, exercising good judgment, and treating customers with respect
- must have a clean driving record and clean, reliable transportation and air conditioning
- ability to lift 30-50 lbs without assistance
Compensation for the Contract Position - $50 - $100+ per shift pending number of deliveries, distance and time (compensation includes mileage reimbursement
