CAKE FAQS
Do you offer Gluten-Free, Sugar-Free or Dairy-Free Cakes?
Unfortunately, we do not offer gluten-free, sugar-free or dairy-free cakes at this time.
Do you offer offer Smash Cakes?
We create custom cakes for all occasions that align with our simple, natural style. For first birthdays, we recommend our Golden Vanilla. While not "low sugar," it is lowest in sugar of our offerings and makes a lovely empty canvas for your decorations.
Do you offer custom cakes?
Yes and no:) On a weekly basis, we offer what we call "Semi-customizable" cakes that you can customize by choosing flavor, frosting style and floral garnish. For further customization, please send an inspiration photo to hello@cakebloom.com, and we'll let you know what's possible!
How far in advance do I need to order?
We have a 3-day lead time for all online orders. If you missed our cut-off window, please give us a call on the day of your event to check availability or check out our selection of Last Minute Cakes.
How long do cakes stay fresh?
We recommend enjoying your cake either the day it’s delivered or the following day for best flavor and best-looking botanicals. Cakes are freshly baked the day before your delivery, and we use floral spikes to keep stems hydrated for up to 24 hours.That said, our customers have been known to savor their cakes for up to a week, if kept chilled and tightly sealed in plastic wrap.
How do I store/serve my cake?
Can I customize florals for my party cake?
Are florals on all of your cakes edible?
We exclusively use edible, non-toxic flowers (those grown using organic practices without the use of pesticides or chemicals) as well as fresh fruits, flowering herbs, and wild edible greens. While a stray petal or leaf won’t hurt you, please note that botanicals are chosen from a safety standpoint rather than for their flavor profile, so we recommend removing before serving.

Do you deliver?
Yes! We deliver both cakes and champagne locally within 10 miles of our shop located at 705 West Main Street. For longer distances, please inquire to check availability and rates.
Please note: we ID with all alcohol deliveries.
Do you offer parking?
We do not have dedicated parking at our shop, however, street parking is available on West Main. Additionally, there is a pay-to-park lot directly across the street at the Amtrak Station.
SHOP FAQS
Do you offer non-alcoholic options?
Yes! We regularly offer at least one non-alcoholic sparkling wine, in addition to non-alcoholic cocktails, Spindrift sodas, Violet Lemonade, milk flights, coffee and tea.
Do I need a reservation?
Reservations are strongly encouraged anytime you're planning a visit, and they're required for groups of 5 or more.
Do you offer private events?
We can accommodate up to twelve for a sit-down reservation. For groups of 12-20, we offer semi-private party packages. For groups of 20+, please inquire about our private event packages.
